Death of Ian G. Macdonald

We sadly announce that Ian Grant Macdonald died August 8, 2023 at the age of 94. His mathematics and expository writings are incredibly influential in the field of algebraic combinatorics. Ian Macdonald was an invited speaker at FPSAC 1995 which was held in Paris, France.
